Patinight was a project that was born during the pandemic.
Quarantine, a bit of insomnia, a few ideas in my head, and a lot of dizziness led to the creation of this personal photography project. The raw materials? An electric scooter (my means of transportation to and from work!) and a signaling lantern.
Space was scarce. For the grid, I used the dining room table. There weren’t many options. Patinight is a combination of Patinete (Scooter) + Night... got it?

Colors
The colors were produced using lights placed underneath the scooter. These lights can be modified using a Bluetooth app from the scooter itself.
As for the red light that makes up the light painting in all the photos, it is part of the scooter's rear signaling light, meaning it cannot be changed.
