Context
This was the final project for the Abril Journalism Course in 2008!
The group’s mission was to create a website featuring comic books, games, and animations, based on the model of Comflix. We conducted audience research and studied language until we truly understood their needs, what they thought, what they liked, and what their ideal website would be.

Logo
First, we defined the name, which was conceived by all project participants, then came the design of the logo, which was created by myself and designer Lívia Holanda, a student in the course.
The goal was to create something original that would immediately relate to the topic we were addressing. We nailed it!
We drew inspiration from the “speech bubble” present in all comics and chose typography that matched the rhythm of comic book frames.

Wireframe
After understanding the audience and diving into this world, we moved on to the practical part.
Not everyone chose to create a detailed wireframe, especially since it wasn't common practice at the time, but I already believed that without this documentation, the likelihood of project problems was very high. So, we decided to spend more time on understanding and planning to ensure a well-rounded project from start to finish.

Layout
We opted to design a layout inspired by comic books, where the boxes would "float" over the website's background.
We studied which elements were most important to highlight on the first fold of the page, with a special focus on our main idea: "Create Comic," where users could create their own comic, print it, send it to friends, or even save it as an image and upload it to the site, creating a profile where they could showcase their creations, which could then be commented on and rated by other users.

Videocase
To present the project to the students, mentors, and the President of Editora Abril, Roberto Civita, we decided to create a video explaining a bit about the story behind the creation of the project.
