The idea here was to paint an old sneaker and photograph the steps to create a stop motion animation, transitioning from the plain white sneaker to the illustrated one. However, as I started drawing, new ideas came up along the way (like red paint dripping onto the blank paper). Once the artwork was finished, I even gave the sneaker a purpose - initially, it was just meant to serve as decoration.
